One of my photographs won an award from National Geographic.
National Geographic Prize Winning Photo (buy a print)
With more than 15,000 entries from 30 countries, I’m honored to be among the winners.
The winning photo is of Donavon Frankenreiter, a professional surfer at Cloudbreak in Tavarua, Fiji. Instead of the standard, done-before surf shots, we decided to try something different. The photo causes most people to do a double take.
